For organizers
If you run electronic music nights in India, you can have an organizer page on Mahaul. It's free, and a person on our team checks every application.
What you get
- Official eventsPublish events with a verified badge. They show up in Explore and on the map, with a live count of who's going.
- Posts from your pageShare lineups, set times and news. Posts from your page carry an Official label.
- AnnouncementsSend an update to everyone going or interested, like gate times, a set-time change or the rain plan.
- A page people can followFollowers hear about your new events. Your page lists what's coming up and what you've posted.
How verification works
- Apply in the app. Tap +, then Host events on Mahaul. Tell us your organizer or collective name, whether you're a business, a collective or an individual DJ, your city, and your Instagram or website. A link to a past event helps.
- We review it by hand. Someone on the team checks every application, usually within a couple of days, and you get a notification either way. If we can't approve it, we'll tell you why, and you can update it and apply again after 7 days.
- You get the badge. Your page, events and posts show the verified badge, and you can start publishing straight away.
Organizer pages belong to organizations, not people, so they never appear in anyone's People deck.
Announcement limits
Announcements arrive as a notification for everyone who marked your event Going or Interested. To keep them useful, there are limits:
- 3 per event, per day
- 10 per event in total
- 5 per day across all your events
Announcements close 24 hours after an event ends.
The rules
- Publish real events that are yours to publish, with the right date, venue and price. If something isn't confirmed, say TBA.
- Use artwork and photos you have the rights to.
- Follow the community guidelines and Indian advertising rules, including the ones on alcohol.
- We can remove the badge from, or suspend, an organizer account that misleads people or breaks the guidelines. A suspended organizer can't publish, post or announce.
The full terms are in our Terms of use.
